Cliff Hanger

Recently I have finished a chapter in my book House of Hades and it ended where Piper goes down to a crossroad where se meets Hecate, the god of crossroads and decisions.  She explains how Percy and Annabeth will die unless she takes the toughest route through the northern mountains. But also they have a very slim chance of living through the new passage way. So I stopped reading and wondered what she would do. I still have not read the following chapter and I do believe that Piper will lead her and her crew through the North passage because of how important they are to there quest or mission.  I feel like if I was in Piper's position I believe that I would choose to save Annabeth and Percy.  I have had a similar situation which is obviously not a life or death situation.  But if I play on the school basketball team I will not be able to go to baseball workouts which I would love to do. So I decided to play basketball this year but I will have the same problem or crossroad next year and throughout highschool.  So I have a similar idea of what a big decision is and how hard they are.

Dynamic Characters

In this blog, I am going to be describing how Piper changed throughout the whole Lost Hero series.  It is not going to be over just the House of Hades.  In the first book,  Piper is a very shy girl who is going out with the son of Zues and main character Jason.  She starts off very shy and wouldnt talk to many people other than Jason and Leo.  Throughout the book she begins to obtain or realize her powers and skills becoming more confident in her self.  At the end of the Lost Hero she truly becomes confident.  You will have to read the series to learn about the ending.  She is a big reason that the plot is able to unreal.  In the Mark of Athena she will make a very big decision which will change the plot in various ways.

Starting early

In the book "House of Hades",  I was debating whether or not I should read it but by chapter 2 I knew that I was right to read it.  It starts off right where it left off.  The action.  It starts out just by an attack on their ship.  And then it switches characters to Percy and Annebeth who are falling into Tartarus and finally reach the bottom.  I really like how he hooked me so quick.

Rereading

So when I started reading my newer book, "House of Hades", I realized how confused I was.  I decided to skim through the books previous to the House of Hades. I was really surprised at how much I forgot. After I skimmed through the rest of the books, I read the portion of my new book that I read already and it made so much more sence. So if u are stuck in a series, look back at the previous books.
